PUBG Mobile version trailer launched

PUBG‘s mobile version launched in China this month. To support the release, launch partner Tencent put out a live-action trailer–and it looks pretty great.Have a look what’s source gaming experts views on it ,and enjoy the amazing trailer

Tencent promises a similar PUBG experience on mobile as on PC, although it remains to be seen how the company will translate the shooter to a smaller screen. (There are plenty of battle royale-style games already on mobile that may give fans an idea of what to expect, at least.)

The game is currently planned to launch in China first, although Tencent neither gave a release date nor detailed plans to expand to other markets. But as the company pointed out in its (Chinese-language) press release, PUBG has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide — so we’d expect a Western release at some point.Have a look at it trailer

Tencent is one of the biggest publishers in the industry, holding stock in a number of console and mobile games makers. The company recently tied up the distribution rights to PUBG in China, where it will bring the game to players for the first time. But local players should expect a slightly altered version of the game; Tencent said it would ensure that PUBG reflects “socialist core values, Chinese traditional culture and moral rules.”

As others have pointed out, this live-action trailer shows off what a PUBG movie could look like. Last month, the CEO of PUBG developer PUBG Corp, Chang Han Kim, said in an interview that the studio sees the game as being a “universal media franchise,” with movies and TV shows extending the brand beyond a game alone.

“We want to take part in diverse industries including Esports, movies, drama, cartoons, animation, and more,” Kim said at the time. “In fact, we received a couple of love calls from a number of developers in Hollywood and Netflix. Our dream is to build a new game-based culture through various ways like this, and have the lead of that culture.”

Gamers in China can download PUBG right now for mobile devices. Check out the gameplay video below to get an idea about what the game looks like and how it plays. As of yet, there is no word on if PUBG mobile will be released in Western markets.
